The more a nuclear war is about to break out, the more frequent the signals about nuclear threats will appear, which usually means that the nuclear war arrangement between the two warring parties is a virtual confrontation. The UN Security Council will discuss Russia’s unsubstantiated claims about the “Ukrainian dirty bomb”. CNN quoted two anonymous U.N. diplomats familiar with the matter as saying that the U.N. Security Council will hold a closed-door private discussion on October 25 over Russia’s unsubstantiated claims that Ukraine plans to build a “dirty bomb.” It is generally believed that Ukraine’s possession of “dirty bombs” is a pretext for Russia to launch a nuclear strike, so the United States issued a warning in advance. Russia’s escalation to the height of the UN also seems to be an unusual signal.

Russia plans to conduct the “Grom”, or Thunder nuclear exercise. According to the Ukrainian Defense Express, Russia intends to hold regular nuclear exercises after the NATO exercises, which ended on October 30. Reuters reported on October 17, citing a senior U.S. military official, that Russia had not notified the United States of its nuclear force exercises, which are required by the new START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty).

Putin oversees routine exercises for “large-scale” nuclear strikes. According to the Moscow Times, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the exercise watched by Vladimir Putin on October 26 simulated a “a massive nuclear strike by the strategic nuclear forces in retaliation for the enemy’s nuclear strike”. The exercises, under Putin’s supervision, were held in the Barents Sea in the Arctic and in Kamchatka, Russia. In other words, Russia’s nuclear exercises are under Putin’s “personal supervision”, just waiting for his orders.

If the signals of nuclear war are concentrated, it means that someone is indeed planning nuclear war. If the signal shows signs of equilibrium, then the world is on the brink of nuclear war, but nuclear war will not break out; If the signal is out of equilibrium and comes out like the panicked performance of the French defense minister, then nuclear war will break out.
